The magic of the holiday season returns as the 2026 Innisfail Festival of Trees takes place from November 19 to November 29, 2026.
This year’s Festival promises to be one of our most exciting yet, featuring many of the beautifully decorated trees and cherished traditions that have made the Festival a community favourite for years. Visitors will once again have the opportunity to enjoy displays and memories from past Festivals while experiencing new attractions, activities, and entertainment designed for the whole family.
Whether you’re visiting to admire the stunning trees, attend special events, participate in family activities, or simply celebrate the spirit of the season, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Our committee is currently planning an exciting lineup of new experiences alongside returning favourites. More details, event schedules, volunteer opportunities, sponsorship information, and ticket details will be announced in the coming months.
We look forward to welcoming our community and visitors from across Central Alberta as we celebrate the joy, generosity, and traditions that make the Innisfail Festival of Trees such a special event.
The Annual Innisfail Festival of Trees is a free event focused on bringing the community together to cherish a time of giving and charity. Over the last five years, we have raised over $33,000 to donate to local charities that help families in need during the holiday season and support the community throughout the year.
The holiday season is a time for giving for family and friends. It is a time of love, inclusion, and coming together, regardless of background.
The Christmas Tree symbolizes the giving spirit. This is the essence of The Innisfail Festival of Trees – to give.
This event creates hope for a better and stronger tomorrow by strengthening our community with compassion, kindness, and love.
We are glad that over the past five years, the Innisfail Festival of Trees has become a tradition for the town of Innisfail and its surrounding area, like many of the holiday traditions held by the families that make up this community.
The 6th Annual Innisfail Festival of Trees will return in November of 2026! Be sure to check back here for event dates, details, and exciting announcements as we get closer. We can’t wait to celebrate another season of holiday magic, beautifully decorated trees, and community spirit with you.
In the spirit of inclusivity, we invited citizens, neighbours, business owners, faith leaders, and community leaders to participate in this annual event.

Funds raised through the Festival of Trees will support the Christmas Bureau, the Innisfail Food Bank, and help fund and spotlight other local charities that support families, children, and seniors—throughout the holiday season and all year long.
Innisfail is known for coming together to support its own, and the Festival of Trees is proud to partner with local organizations to make the event a success while supporting other meaningful programs. Partners include the Town of Innisfail, Innisfail & District Chamber of Commerce, Innisfail Christmas Bureau, Innisfail Library, and Innisfail & Area Food Bank.
